The Society of Civil Engineers (SCE) is a student council functioning since 1996, exclusively for the students of Anna University pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. The Society of Civil Engineers intends on improving the skills of students in the domain of Civil Engineering and also on moulding them into eminent professionals to render valuable service to the community. The society conducts regular activities such as guest lectures, site visits, workshops etc... to impart practical knowledge to the students. SCE hosts Intra Collegiate Annual Function called Departments in Civil Engineering (DICE) and Inter Collegiate Annual Function named Civilization two powerful technical events with the vision of augmenting their skills and knowledge and aims to provide a creative learning environment.
